The Gastroenterology and hepatology department at Lancet specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating digestive tract and liver disorders. These mainly include conditions involving the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon.

Lancet’s Gastroenterology department performs minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. These include upper GI endoscopy (also known as esophagogastroduodenoscopy or EGD), sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy.
